First Thursday: Monica Shepard Artist with Youngs Market Wine
Our artist this month is Monica Shepard originally from Portland witha direct southwest influence. Her abstract and surreal art combines a range of natural colors for an aesthetically pleasing appeal. Her creative style produces tangible and interactive art that is truly unique. With this show in mind she has developed several pieces that will capture the essence of a bottle shop. We are proud to announce Monica Shepard as our July 5th, First Thursday artist. Come join us on July 5th from 6 to 9 pm with a chance to meet the artist in person!
Youngs Market will have wine to sample for this event and special case deals for the whole night. Come in and join us to celebrate some great local art!
First Thursday! Abraham Wylie
Abraham Wylie, a masterful illustrator and oil painter. Wylie pushes a swollen caricature of anthropomorphism into the ring with Muhammad Ali, and they dance around each other with grace, mystery and unexpected 1st round knock-outs. Paint splatters right, left, up, down and a then face is etched with a cadmium blue upper-cut
Independent Wine will be serving some great wines for you tasting during the show.
Ninkasi Brewing will also be in to support the local artist and serving their awesome beers.
Sasquatch Brewing!
Sasquatch Brewing is at Uptown Market FRIDAY! Mark Martin is joining them, writer for Brew Your Own Magazine, specifically known as the Brew your Own Replicator. Come in and ask him questions on how to make some great beer!
Tieton Ciderworks

New Belgium is at Uptown Market this Thursday for a great tasting. Come in and check out what new stuff they are coming out with. We sold through their lips of faith series this season the Coco Mole, but we still have the lips of faith brews that are carried here all the time!

Mike from the Commons will be here to taste some his great craft brew. Mike was here for our grand opening back in December and we have awaited his return. Come in and give them a warm welcome, we are glad they are back!

We have Nate Murray as the featured artist for this month. He is a photographer and film artist new now in Portland, OR. Come welcome this new artist to our shop by coming out May 3rd from 6pm to 9pm.
Chris from Casa Bruno will be here to sample their great wines. Among them will be the Torre Oria Cava Brut Sparkling wine, Mercedes Egueren Cabernet Sauvignon and Nelms Road Cabernet Sauvignon along with the Mcmanis Syrah.
Erin Kemplin from Stone Brewing Co. will be here to taste some of their well known beers. Levitation, Arrogant Bastard and many others. Come in and join all of us for some great art and great craft beer.

Oh my oh my, that's right Naked Winery is at Uptown from 5 pm to 7 pm. Not only do they have the most provocative labels around, but their wine is spectacular. Who wouldn't want to bring a climax to the party? They are located in Hood River, get some of their grapes from Washington and some from Oregon. They do an excellent job with events, so come in and try some great wine from a local winery!
Maletis Madness!
George, our favorite representative from Maletis is going to be here to taste some delicious brews! Come in have some great craft beer and of course, bring your friends to share in the experience. Tasting starts at 5 pm and if you know George, he's one to stick around, so no telling when this one will be over, madness right!
