A double IPA for the books we went with a more simplified grain bill than in the past electing the use the “Less is More” path… until we started adding hops. We added a lot. Like a lot, a lot. The hop-star of this brew that features potent notes of white grapes, floral nosings, west coast juiciness, and a background of mild stone fruits with a hint of wood is Hallertau Blanc. We dosed the brew with a few of the usual suspects, but the Hallertaus definitely outweighed them by a factor of 3. Good luck not enjoying this beautiful, hazy DIPA.
